Something that struck me here though is how a lack in shadows give Vet a bit of a floating quality in the 1st and 6th panels. Unless new guys don’t have em yet… I don’t know. :|

However this is not Grim Fandango, and I’m assuming the Helvetica answer will be somewhat less tongue-in-cheek warped than the Grim Fandango one.
